Very good experience with this family owned company. The owner is a professional person that was able to handle everything professionally, calmly and in a record time. I had a to face a tricky situation at the customs in Basel due to a weight problem with my truck (long story short, always be careful when you are moving, the amount you can transport is limited, depending on the truck you rent and a bigger van may have a bigger limitation than some smaller ones). I was able to get help from Hamdy by removing a portion of my appliances even with such a short notice, so on the same day, and get them delivered on the next day as promised. I can definitely recommend this company based on my experience

We recently moved with the company « Man with a Van » after I read great comments about them… we unfortunately did not have a great experience.
First encounter was great, someone had hired them to pick up some furnitures that we sold them in our old apartment, they seemed very carefull and friendly.
Second encounter was our moving day… they are all very friendly indeed.. but they scratched couple of things (like the main door frame) in our old apartment, because they were such in a rush 😥 carrying as much as possible… it seems that they had 3 moves that day and started already late in our place (we were the middle one) and got very late for the last one.
we had more boxes than they expected I guess 😅 so they had to do it twice..
Anyway, the issue is at the new house.. new building, immaculate walls.. we have now the Alps drawn on our walls.. zig zag scratches and the main door is also a zebra (not repairable)…
The price ended up to be almost as high as an official moving company and we deeply regret, that we didn’t pay slightly more to have someone more professional…
I sent pictures per mail directly and got an answer one week later, that someone will contact me.. but nothing yet.. anyway, what is done, is done…
I think they are good to move one piece of furniture, but think twice for your move.
I wished I had read such warning prior our move.
PS: oh.. and we paid double the price than the offer (paiements are in cash)
