Fast, reliable and flexible. That's what moving companies always say about themselves, but this one actually delivers (pun intended). It was my second time moving with them and they are really helpful. Short notice, odd times for moving out and then moving in several hours later, ad-hoc help with the cleaning. Staff is great, secretary is super nice and accomodating, and she was cool with my horrible German too.

We employed Gepard for both moving and the final cleaning. His moving guys themselves were and did a great job but the owner extorted more money from us by saying there were lots of smaller items etc. we ended up paying CHF 300 more than agreed for the move.
But the real disaster was the cleaning. May 28th itself Gepard owner collected the keys for the old apartment and Bastel room for the agreed cleaning (which includes Abgabe guarantee) scheduled on the 30th of May. We informed him that the Verwaltung and New tenants would come on 31st of May at 9:30 am for check and handover of keys and that he should finish before that and he said he would do it all by the 30th.
It was assumed that the cleaning would be finished by 30th of May but when we arrived at 9.00pm on the same day just to check, we found that floors in all the rooms, some windows and shutters, freezer, kitchen exhaust , cellar and Bastel room and many other major places were not cleaned. On top of that, the apartment stank of cigarette smoke, which basically means that he was smoking inside the apartment when we gave him no permission to do that. Obviously we were alarmed as we didn't receive any indicator from the Gepard Umzug informing us of any delay. We also observed that the cleaning materials were very basic and not professional as one would expect. We immediately called Gepard Umzug (at 21.05 hrs) and he assured us that he would come on the 31st May at 7.00 am with his people and finish everything before the scheduled Handover to verwaltung at 9.30am. He didn't raise any alarms but instead assured us that all will be fine the next morning.
However when all the parties arrived next day at 9.30 am as agreed, we found that half the cleaning wasn't done. When the verwaltung questioned Hazhar, he started complaining that it has taken him so long to do it because it was all messy in the house. He was blaming us all the time. We found this very unprofessional. During the protocol, our Verwaltung raised objection to the state of Kitchen exhaust (dampfabzug) and asked Hazhar to clean it. To our amazement, he said that this kitchen exhaust cleaning wasn't included in our contract. We were taken aback but didn't have contract handy at that time to challenge it.
On top of this, we also had to point out several things to Hazhar and at some points my wife had to show him how to clean or use his cleaning material properly as well. The verwaltung ended up telling us that we should have used another company.
At the end of the protocol and a very stressful session, it was decided that the new tenants were not happy with kitchen exhaust and that we need to hire some one else to do the cleaning. Hazhar wanted the money to be paid there and then and so we very hesitantly paid CHF 1300 although the quality of his work was not even worth CHF 500.
The next day (2nd of June), we checked the contract and the Dampfabzug was clearly mentioned in there (as you will see yourself) and realized that Hazhar had lied to us. So I called him straight away and told him that the dampfabzug was included in the contract and that he should come to clean it at 4pm on the same day. He said he would do it but has check his calendar to see if 4pm would work for him. Later in the afternoon, he called me and said that he can't come at 4pm as he has to hire a 'dampfreiniger' which he can't do in short notice and in any case, I have to pay extra for the dampfreiniger via Rechnung. I refused saying that he has given me an abgabegarantie and that it is his job to get one and not bill me. At that point he started yelling at me saying that he won't come to clean and I can't do anything about it. I told him that I would contact a lawyer and I gave him one last chance but he again yelled at me saying that he doesn't care and I can do whatever I like.
Long story short, I hired my normal cleaning agency to clean everything again. Then we approached our 'rechtschutz' to send him a letter clearly proving that he was at fault and only then he paid us back.
