Very disappointed with Umzugszentrale AG for the following reasons:
- The company conducted a video visit of my old apartment to check how much furniture we had and quoted 4 hours of work based on that and based on the 50 boxes we estimated. We ended up having only 20 boxes but it took them 8 hours to do the move (we did add a sofa to the move but the sofa only added 30 minutes).
- Damage was done to the several of my belongings because they did not protect the furniture adequately. The couches were dragged on the floor resulting in big scratches. They didn't use blankets to cover furniture but wrapped them in plastic which obviously broke when rubbed on the ground. In addition, they used the minimum amount of wrapping possible which meant for example that only one end of the mattress was protected and the other end ended up very dirty.
- The movers kept on complaining that the furniture was heavy and blaming me for not telling them about it. I was also blamed for not telling them the hallway was narrow (it's not) and I was blamed for not telling them they needed three movers instead of two based on my past experience. I'm sorry but isn't that their job to figure all this out?Read more

The moving team did an excellent job with the move. They communicated the plan clearly, were on time, very quick with packing everything in the van and unpacking in the new location.
They were recommended to me by a friend and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a smooth move with no hassle!

I had good experience with them

30% more expensive than other suppliers for moving music instruments. Offer was not tailor made, service was bad (staff came late and unprepared) and customer service was poor (fee was charged even though the transport did not happen). I had to cancel this job and used another moving agency.
