Embarking on an international move from Zurich to Vienna, Peter shares his journey, from the meticulous company selection with With Express to a seamless moving day experience. Discover their valuable tips for a stress-free move and how a well-organized approach can make all the difference.

We’d like to know the origin and destination of your move, and most importantly the reason of your move. How did you experience that?

As part of the end of my professional career in Zurich, I moved to the city of Vienna. While looking for a cheap and reputable company, I came across With Express. Binding contact with friendly and uncomplicated conversations. The removal staff showed up on time and handled the removal goods and professionally. Very courteous employees.
My belongings reached the new flat without any problems. This international transfer was easier than the previous official contacts had led me to fear.
I can only fully recommend this company.

Choosing a good moving company is painful, we know that. How did you manage to find the perfect one among the thousands of existing ones?

Good preparation. Arrange the removal goods clearly. Do not load the boxes too heavily.
If possible, arrange the items in such a way that the loading of the removal van can be easily organized. Being friendly with the staff and asking them what they need. Do not stand in the way. Not interfering too much. Let the people do it. They are very good at their job. Really, on moving day, don\’t have unfinished business or furniture to disassemble. It’s better to prepare everything yourself beforehand and then let go.

Research via Internet. After several comparative offers from Switzerland and Austria, I decided to go with a German company. This company made the clearest and most transparent offer, which was also the cheapest. Further communication confirmed my decision. And in the planning meetings, the managing director of With Express advised me well and prepared the move professionally. All this without any major problems. I submitted all the necessary international applications and documents and went into the move relaxed and without stress.

Take us through the moving day – did everything go as planned?

Got up early and already put the first boxes downstairs in front of the door. After the transport workers arrived, I showed them the furniture and boxes in the flat and in the basement. After that, everything was very organized and calm. After 3 hours, everything was loaded and very well set up. The things were not pressed or stacked too tightly. All the things looked safe and airy. After the removal van left, I followed and the next morning at 9.00 am, the 3 removal workers were at the flat in Vienna with all the undamaged belongings. After another 2 hours, everything was in the new flat and there was nothing to complain about. Full recommendation on my part, as I didn’t have a second of stress despite this move between two countries. And this was largely thanks to the company and its procedures.
