14The cargo arrived in Istanbul on Sept 7 but it couldn't clear customs because Muvzilla still did not pay the Israeli firm. Muvzilla's CEO couldn't explain why they have not settled the bill yet but promised me he would pay 'this week'. Every day of delay at the port will ultimately be my cost to bear. There is no rational explanation to what is blatantly fraudulent behaviour.
The payment still hasn't been made, and I'm facing a possibility of paying twice for the same service to rescue my things from the port.
My work archive is in that shipment. I've been living out of a suitcase, and I simply do not have warm clothes to wear when autumn ends.
Our delivery from Switzerland to USA showed up with mold and shipping damage, we had to personally get involved to manage the delivery. We had an ‘all risk’ insurance policy through Muvazilla ( we paid $6,000 for $200k coverage, turns out Muvzilla only bought a $2,800 policy that only insures them!)
To date, they owe us $20,000 for damaged goods, plus a refund on services not performed to contract and we’ve had to use US and Swiss lawyers to get a response. Their CEO begged us to remove negative reviews, we’ve had enough!
Our household goods left Switzerland and arrived in the US, upon receiving at our residence mold was discovered and the moving company, Atlantic Movers (contracted by Muvzilla) refused to unload it because of health risks and company policy. They put it in their warehouse for storeage, and refused to deliver it until mold remediation was done. No parties involved knew how to do mold remediation, so I had to get involved and found a place that would and the goods were transported there. They tested for mold, which was present in all loads, and recommended and quoted a full remediation and delivery of the shipment. The insurance company (hired by Muvzilla) sent a surveyor who didn't even look at unloaded goods, just items packaged in the boxes in 'lift vans' and declared it wasn't their problem, and no one wanted to pay for mold remediation caused by them. Winter was approaching and we didn't have any of clothes or household goods, so Muvzilla had another shipping company bring the items to our house - we unwrapped, took pictures, and had to move and assemble household items ourselves, and 20% of items on the original list were missing, damaged from mold, damaged from shipping. When we sent the claims to Muvzilla, and the insurance company, the insurance company said the policy purchased by Muvzilla 'insures them, not you - they need to cover the cost and submit to us.
Now Muvzilla is trying to blame us - the customer? - for their ineptitude and dishonesty. We are going to court and will surely win.
I’ll gladly post pictures and emails for whomever is interested-DO NOT USE!!!!!Lire la suite
Sorry for your frustration. But you have a cover of CHF 200'000 with the insurance company. You can claim for your damages. If you had accepted the delivery first time, you would have the furniture earlier than promised. Since your furniture was handled by third-parties unknown to us, our delivery service is not responsible for damages, if there is any. You involved other parties unfortunately.
